As we near the start of a new decade, we wanted to take a moment at the end of the year to reflect on Meridian West’s highlights of 2019 and preview what is to come in 2020.
2019 in review
Thank you to all colleagues, clients and partners who have made 2019 such a successful year.
Meridian West’s highlights include:
An expanded team. We welcomed new faces to the Meridian West team this year. Jonathan Litterick joined as a consultant. Simone Howard joined as an analyst and has recently been promoted to consultant. Eva Klein joined as an analyst. Silvia Grigoriou was promoted to Senior Projects and Operations Manager.
Thought Leadership Club. We launched our regular Thought Leadership Club series of events to provide informal opportunities for sharing best practice in campaign execution. Speakers have included representatives EY, Slaughter & May, ERM and Cazenove Capital.
Client listening benchmark. We developed an interactive benchmark to help professional firms to understand how they client listening activities benchmark against their peers. You can complete the short survey and request a personalised report here: Take the benchmark
Business Buyers Barometer. This year our annual study of professional services buying behaviour got 25% bigger: we interviewed 1,000 senior buyers in the UK and Ireland about their experiences with accountancy, legal and advisory firms.
Five continents. The Meridian West team continued to deliver high quality, high impact work for professional firms in the UK and globally, with client engagements spanning five continents.
2020 in preview
Among the many things to watch out for over the year to come include:
Marketing Leaders Benchmark 2020. We kick off the year by showcasing the findings of our annual survey among CMOs and Heads of Business Development about their priorities for 2020 at a special PM Forum event on 22nd January. Hear a panel comprising representatives from Turner & Townsend, LCP, Buzzacott and RPC talk about what the findings mean for our industry.
A revamped Client Insight Platform. We continue to invest in our data analytics and visualisation capability to bring enhanced value to our clients. Our Insight Engine is now equipped with AI for smarter analytics of qualitative insights and new business opportunity spotting.
Thought leadership benchmarking tools. Building on successes working with clients to add benchmarking tool to their thought leadership deployment, we are iterating our offering in this area. A new demo tool is being roll out for 2020 – do let us know if you’d like to see it in action.
New charity partners. Following nearly a decade as a corporate supporter of Teach First, in 2020 we are refreshing our corporate giving strategy have a greater impact on our local community. Look out for more news coming soon.
